Alicia Edwards brings to the people of God the power and the anointing that God has placed on her life. An anointing that reaches the brokenhearted. Alicia Edwards accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of twelve under the leadership of Dr. Bishop Al Baxter of Faith Missionary Ministries in Toronto, Canada.
Alicia Edwards is a singer and songwriter whom God is using for such a time as this. In 1994 Alicia joined the Toronto Mass Choir, which contributed to her exposure to gospel artists such as Shirley Caesar, John P. Kee , Vicki Winans, Hezekiah Walker, Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin and many others. Alicia’s ministry has blessed her to travel across Canada, USA, and the United Kingdom.
Alicia Edwards’s recent relocation to Windsor, Ontario has caused her to leave her home church Faith Missionary Ministries where she has served as a worship leader and choir director. This opportunity has allowed Alicia to minister with many great men and woman of God such as Reverend Jackie McCullough, Reverend George Bloomer, Morris Cerullo, and Bishop John Francis of the United Kingdom.
Whenever Alicia is not engaged in outdoor ministries, she can be found glorifying God at Leamington Christian Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Dan Tamburo.
Alicia Edwards has received the French Gospel Awards for international Gospel Artist of the Year and Best New Artist in 2004 as well as a Maja Award winner for Best Contemporary Gospel Recording Artist of 2006 in the U.S.A. Her first solo project entitled “I Will Wait”, has blessed the souls of many across the globe.
Alicia can be seen ministering from time to time on the television show “The Miracle Hour” on CTS hosted by Dr. Bishop Josiah Spencer. She is currently working on second solo project which is to be released in spring 2011.
